    Reporting Animal Welfare Concerns

CUHK is committed to the humane treatment of animals and strives to ensure that institutional facilities and procedures adhere in all respects to the Code of Practice for Care and Use of animals for Experimental Purposes. The AEEC wants to be informed of any concerns that individuals of the campus community may have with respect to the care and use of laboratory animals and feels it is important that these concerns be addressed on an individual basis. Every effort will be made to keep the identity of the person raising the concern confidential or you may want to report in anonymous. Retaliation against a person who raises a good-faith concern will not be tolerated. The AEEC will follow-up on all complaints and gather additional information as necessary and appropriate.

The report will be submitted to the AEEC. Or you can write to aeec@cuhk.edu.hk directly.
Please provide any details that will assist investigation. This may include name of PI, protocol number, location, other personnel who may know the incident.
